P.H.0 is an independent SILKPUNK quartet from New York City, consisting of guitarists Howard Ouyang and Jun Guo, drummer Pierre Pi, and Danting Qiao on the erhu. Described by critics as “one of the only handful of musical acts that can claim a truly unique sound,” the group is known to exist in the volatile space between the underground heavy and electronic scenes, bringing some of the most chaotic and sonically brutal metal guitar riffs into rave-friendly jungle and techno beats threaded through the haunting, ancient cry of the Chinese erhu.

Their multicultural and genre-bending sound speaks to their uncompromising attitude toward their creative and cultural identity. This vision is fully realized in their live shows, which they call "rituals", that transform Taoist traditions and ceremonies they grew up with into ear-crushing soundscapes and mosh pits, often described as a neon-lit, techno-dystopian rave held in an abandoned shrine in Cyberpunk 2077.

From playing major festival stages like Punk Island and SXSW—where they were named one of The Austin Chronicle’s "40 Musical Acts to See at SXSW 2026"—to being recognized as an NPR Tiny Desk "Top Shelf" artist and supporting Danish prog-metal giants VOLA on their North American tour, the quartet is solidifying their place as a rising force about to break through the underground. As they work on their next EP, the quartet continues to unapologetically subvert and refine the cultures they draw from, one ritual at a time.
